To successfully complete the Level 2 Award for Working as a Door Supervisor in the Private Security Industry, candidates must adhere to the following requirements listed under “Information for Candidates”: complete all mandatory training modules, participate in practical assessments, pass written examinations, provide proof of identity, and meet the minimum attendance criteria. These steps are essential to ensure comprehensive understanding and competency in the field.
Information for Candidates:
Distance Learning Requirement: All candidates must complete the assigned distance learning modules before attending the practical part of the course. Failure to do so will result in removal from the course.
Required Identifying Documents: Please ensure you bring valid identifying documents as listed in the email you received. Failure to do so will prevent participation in examinations.
Punctuality Policy: Candidates must arrive on time for the course. The door will be locked, and candidates arriving more than 15 minutes late will be turned away. This is a requirement imposed by the regulating body and may result in booking onto an alternative course with a penalty fee of £99.
Passport-Sized Photo: All candidates are required to provide a passport-sized photo on day one of the course. This photo will be used to complete identity sheets uploaded to the awarding body and SIA.

Our purpose-built training facility provides amenities such as a kettle and supplies for tea, coffee, and squash. We also have a microwave and fridge available for candidates to use.
You are welcome to bring a packed lunch. If you prefer, there are local shops along Old Market or Stapleton Road. Additionally, fast food outlets are also available at Shield Retail Park, which is a 5-minute drive away (not within walking distance).
